RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is a way of distributing or viewing information. Two things are needed - some information that you want to subscribe to (an RSS Feed) and then something to use to collect it and read it (an RSS reader).
There are many RSS readers now - some are even embedded into your web browser. Amongst many others are...
- FeedDemon (Windows)
- NetNewsWire (Mac)
- Amphetadesk (Linux)
- BlogLines (Web Based)
Setting up a feed differs from one reader to another, but it usually involves copying the URL of the feed (in our case, http://www.eighteenthree.com/rss.xml) and pasting it into the reader. Once you've done that, you'll begin receiving all the latest from eighteenthree and any other site feeds to which you wish to subscribe.
